Established in the year 1954, Kirori Mal College is a part of the prestigious University of Delhi. KMC offers postgraduate and undergraduate courses from different disciplines such as mathematics, physics, chemistry and economics. Admission to KMC is merit-based, and every year the college takes out a cut-off list. The college follows the eligibility criteria set by the University of Delhi. Additionally, it is essential for applicants applying to this college to meet the following qualifying parameters:
- Applicants must clear their 12th standard examination from any recognised board
- Applicants must clear (or pass) every subject individually

Kirori Mal College Placement & Salary Trends
This college has a placement cell called Avenues, which focuses on bringing employment opportunities to students. This placement cell is among the oldest and most active placement cell in Delhi University. Some of the past recruiters of this college are De Shaw, PwC, Deloitte and Oberoi Hotels. During the academic session of the year 2018-2019, the placement cell successfully placed 88 students, out of which 52 students were placed from the commerce department.
In the same year, the average CTC offered were INR 4.94 LPA. In 2018, the highest salary offered was INR 20 LPA, which is 7.89% more than the past academic session of 2017-2018. Similar to this, the average CTC offered by the top 20 companies in 2018 (INR 8.84 LPA) was higher than the one offered in 2017 (INR 7.00 LPA).

Kirori Mal College Scholarships
KMC offers financial assistance to deserving students. It also encourages students to avail the benefits of various state scholarships. The financial assistance offered by KMC can be in the form of fee concession. This fee concession is supported by the Students Aid Fund of the college, which is a fund dedicated to supporting students facing financial difficulties while pursuing their education. Apart from this, students belonging to SC and ST categories are eligible for the Post-Matric Scholarships of the Directorate of Education. Students can also apply for a scholarship under the National Loan Scholarship Scheme. The students must submit the scholarship application before the deadline.
