Located in Bhubaneswar, Odisha, KIIT School of Rural Management (KSRM) is affiliated to the Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology (KIIT), deemed-to-be University. KSRM was established in November 2006 and in the past 13 years it has emerged as one of the best schools in the country in rural management.

KSRM has started its MBA in Agribusiness Management (ABM) in 2019 after its MBA programme in Rural Management (RM) with a vision of catering to the need in the agribusiness sector. Apart from these two courses, the School also offers a PG Diploma in Community Development (PGDCD). Admissions to all these management courses are based on a valid score in either a national-level or the University-level entrance exam.

The campus of KSRM has technologically-equipped classrooms, common area, conference space, student cafe, lounges and all the other basic and necessary amenities for its students.

KIIT School of Rural Management Admission Process

Application forms can be filled online by visiting the official website of KSRM. Selection to the MBA programmes is based on a valid score in KIITEE ManagementCAT/ XAT/ CMAT/ MAT/ TISSNET/ OJEE.

  • Shortlisted candidates are called for the GD and Personal Interview (GDPI) round
  • Candidates with Agriculture and Allied degrees will be given preference for admission to MBA (ABM)
  • Candidates appearing in the final semester have to submit their degree within the given time
  • For MBA (RM), candidates can submit their degrees latest by September 30, 2020. While for MBA (ABM) the last date is June 30, 2020
  • The final selection will be based on the score in the entrance exam, academic record and performance in GDPI

KIIT School of Rural Management Courses

At present, KSRM offers two MBA programmes and a PG Diploma in Community Development in full-time mode. The duration of MBA programmes is two years. While for PG Diploma, it is one year. Below are the highlights around these courses:

KIIT School of Rural Management Hostel Facility

The MBA (RM) is a full-time residential programme and all the students need to stay in the hostel. The state-of-the-art hostels are separate for both boys and girls with all the mandatory and modern facilities for students.
