Kirloskar Institute of Advanced Management Studies (KIAMS) is one of the top B-Schools in the country and has been ranked as A++ consistently by Business India. It was set up in 1991 by the Kirloskar Group in Harihar, Karnataka. The consistent success of its alumna paved a path for Kirloskar Institute of Advanced Management Studies to establish the second campus in Talegaon Dabhade, Pune in 2010. Both the campuses are approved by the All India Council of Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi. The institute offers two-year fully residential Management programmes such as Post Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDM), Management Development Programme (MDP) and Postgraduate Programme in Business Analytics and Decision Science (PGP BA & DS). - Business Immersion is an important component of education at KIAMS. It is an attempt to bridge the gap between the academic institution and the corporate world. At KIAMS, students undertake a three-month duration Business Immersion in companies after the third term. It provides an opportunity for the students to satisfy their inquisitiveness about the corporate world, provides exposure to technical skills, and helps them to acquire social skills by being in constant interaction with the professionals of other organizations.
