About
KCG College of Technology, founded in 1998 and affiliated to Anna University, is an engineering college in Chennai, Tamil Nadu. The college offers twelve undergraduate (UG) and four postgraduate (PG) programmes. Out of the twelve colleges, five UG programmes – Computer Science and Engineering (CSE), Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE), Electrical and Electronics Engineering (EEE), Information Technology (IT) and Mechanical Engineering (ME) – are accredited by the National Board of Accreditation (NBA).
The college has been accorded recognition as a Scientific & Industrial Research Organisation (SIRO) by the Department of Scientific & Industrial Research Organisation (DSIR). The college is an affiliated training centre of Skill Council for Green Jobs (SCGJ) by National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC), Government of India. The college is among the top 21 institutes in Platinum Category by AICTE-CII Survey.

KCG College of Technology Placements
The institute offers good placement to its students. For the academic year 2019-20, the institute has so far recorded 93% placement of the batch. With placement still in progress, over 100 companies have visited the campus with more than 380 offers to students. The highest salary package offered so far is Rs 12 LPA.

KCG College of Technology Infrastructure
KCG College of Technology provides its students with several facilities and provisions all over the campus. Some of the said facilities offered by the institute are as follows:
Hostel: There are separate hostels for boys and girls. All the hostels are provided with dining halls, uninterrupted water supply, reading halls, Internet connection, indoor recreation, television, and 24/7 medical facility.
Library: With an area of 11,000 sq.ft, the seating capacity of the library is of 150 readers. At present, the library houses 45,815 books, 905 back volumes, 3,105 project reports, previous year question papers and more than 1,962 multimedia packages like CD’s and DVD’s. The library subscribes to 128 print journals, 40 magazines and six newspapers.
Sports: The institute has outdoor games facilities for Basketball, Ball Badminton, Handball, Kabaddi, Kho-Kho, Tennis, Volleyball, Horse Riding, Cricket and FootBall. The institute also has indoor games facilities for Chess, Carom Board and Table Tennis.
