Kashi Institute of Technology (KIT) is an integral part of Kashi Group of Institutions (KGI). The institute was established in 2008 and is located in Varanasi. It is a private institution that is affiliated to Dr Abdul Kalam Technical University (AKTU). With its 12 year experience of academic excellence, KIT offers holistic education to the students.
KIT is a member of the Computer Society of India (CSI). Further, it offers spoken English tutorial workshops for the students in collaboration with IIT Bombay. In addition, the institute has signed an MoU with IIT Kanpur for academic purposes. The institute has a record of 20 research papers that have been published by the students till date at the national level. As guest lecturers and for delivering seminars, KIT has been visited by professors from IIT BHU, Banaras Hindu University and Utkarsh Micro Finance.
The industry-institute interaction cell was established at KIT Varanasi for arranging industrial training for students and faculty members. KIT has also established a Corporate Relations Centre (CRC) that handles campus placement of the final year students. In recent years, CRC has managed to invite companies like Infosys, TCS, Wipro, HCL Technology, Genpact, Capgemini, Tech Mahindra, HDFC, Shyam Steels, etc for campus placements.

KIT Varanasi Admission Process
At present, KIT Varanasi offers three courses under various specialisations of Technology and Business Management. Admission to all the programmes is conducted online through the official website of KGI. Candidates, who meet the given eligibility criteria, need to fill an application form to register themselves. Below mentioned are the course-wise details regarding KIT Varanasi admissions:
- Candidates need to qualify JEE Main/ UPSEE with a valid score, followed by a counselling round for seeking BTech admission
- For MBA admission, CAT/ MAT score is considered. Shortlisted candidates are called for a UPSEE counselling round
- Admission to Polytechnic Diploma programmes is based on merit

KIT Varanasi Courses
