Any degree course need to approved by PCI i.e. Pharmacy Council of India.
This education and profession in India upto graduate level is regulated by the PCI, a statutory body governed by the provisions of the Pharmacy Act, 1948 passed by the Parliament.
Eligibility:
All the aspirants must have completed Class XII in Science stream; physics, chemistry and mathematics or physics, chemistry and biology; before opting for diploma or degree courses in Pharmacy. As for personal attributes, a good pharmacist must inculcate some personal traits including strong logical thinking, responsibility, counselling competence and others.
