What is Business & Management Studies(BBA/BMS)?

Business Management is that branch of education that provides knowledge and training pertaining to planning, execution, supervision, and analysis of a business enterprise. In this field of education, one learns about the establishment of a company or an organization, and various functional levels such as production, financial, administrative, human resources, sales & marketing, and others.

It is open to students from all streams – Commerce, Science, and Arts – and can be pursued at undergraduate (BBA/BMS), postgraduate (MBA/PGDM), and doctoral (FPM) levels.

Career-scope after completing a business management degree course is huge with a variety of managerial jobs on offer at junior as well as senior level. After completing an undergraduate course, a candidate is hired as an executive across functional areas and after completing a post-graduate course in business management, a candidate is hired at the managerial level.

Eligibility and Top Entrance Exams

Program is divided broadly into two levels: Undergraduate and Post Graduate.

At the undergraduate level, the candidate can opt for courses such as Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) and Bachelor of Management Studies (BMS), and Integrated MBA. At the postgraduate level, the candidate can opt for courses like Master of Business Administration (MBA) and Post Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDM).

Class 12th pass or equivalent from a recognized board or university Graduate in any stream or equivalent from a recognized university
Students in class 11th are also eligible to apply for the entrance test conducted for BBA admission.  Students final year of graduation is also eligible to apply for entrance tests conducted for MBA admission.
